Although kept up to her work to the line, Miami Bound had control of this in the last 250m taking her record to now three wins (maiden stakes) in six starts. She was fifth soon after the jump improving to fourth, one out, down the back and past the 1400m. Eased a little at the 1000m but she moved out at the 600m and had a great view starting the run home. Travelling well she moved up to challenge then took over. From the 250m she maintained the lead, was challenged but looked in control, staying on best despite the neck margin at the post. Vegas Jewel sat sixth at the 1200m, moved out nearing the home straight and went after the leaders turning in. She made a sharp move at the 350m and kept on solidly but just could not catch the winner but still a nice run. The first two were six lengths clear of third placed Palumbo who was second turning in then led but could only battle to the line for third. Flit had too much ground to make up from second last at the 400, also battling on for fourth.
