2019 ECLIPSE STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Setting Sail has tactical speed and there is no obvious leader here so he could take up the running. SETTING SAIL (4) brings good form across from the UK for this. Stable have a great record down under and this looks a great chance for them to build on that. Beat a good horse in dominant fashion at Epsom last time and was a wide-margin winner when fresh. Better in store.

PACODALI (1) lacks his upside but he is fit for three runs this spring and he has been going really well. PLEIN CIEL (3) is also fit now and ready to run to something like his best level which should be competitive. MR MONEY BAGS (6) and SAVAHEAT (7) fought out the finish at Flemington and little between them again. They stack up okay.
