Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at TAB meetings for November 24.
Seymour: Race 6 @ 4.55pm
A SHIN ROOK (3) looks a standout on paper having won the Golden Nugget over this distance three starts ago before running in form Group performer Admiral's Joker to a close second at this track and distance two starts ago. Last start he only faded late and back to this distance looks the one to beat. HEPTAGON (4) has run narrow seconds at two of his last three starts and should be thereabouts again. EAST INDIAMAN (11) looks best suited at 1400m but has to be respected here. MANOLO BLAHNIQ (2) is the query runner coming off a setback mid week. His best form is good enough. SELECTION: A Shin Rook a win ticket.

Devonport: Race 4 @ 3.00pm
Harriman and Fitzwilliam to lead them up. NEWHART (1) will be out the back from the jump but looking to flash home as he was all last preparation. Even over shorter trips he was capable of that. The smaller field can only help there. FITZWILLIAM (5) will be up making his own luck from the start. It worked well in an easier race recently. HARRIMAN (3) is unbeaten first up and hasn't run a bad one for a long while. ROUGH ROAD (4) looked good resuming and this appears his distance. LESNAR (2) wears some blinkers now. Could be a surprise. SELECTION: Keen on #1 Newhart.
Queanbeyan: Race 5 @ 3.40pm
HARD CORE (1) is busting to win a race. Got home well over the 900m here last start. Is a winner over this trip so no concerns there. Will have plenty of support from the locals and really should be winning. REASON TO SMILE (5) is a three time winner at this venue. Likes to get back and chime in late. Key rider switch. DEAL MASTER (3) has claims off a Sapphire Coast second two back while QUIANO QUEEN (4) is also in the mix. SELECTION: #1 Hard Core gets the nod.
Sunshine Coast: Race 4 @ 3.50pm (AEDT)
CAILINI (7) should find this easier than her last outing at Doomben when only beaten 2.2L. A repeat of her performance for a close second at Eagle Farm over this distance two back would take her close to winning this. CHEVY NOVA (4) has been racing consistently at this course. Ran on for a close third last start on the back of a dominant 3L win. Well drawn and can go close. The resuming USMANOV (1) was a Doomben winner three back and has been gelded since last seen. Readied with two good trials and proven fresh. Big chance. SLEEPY HEART (3) has a win a placing from two previous fresh attempts. Can go well from the low draw. LET'S GO BOBBY (2) could progress off a first-up win. SELECTION: #7 Cailini to win dropping back from city grade.
Clare: Race 5 @ 3.55pm (AEDT)
OLIVE GROVE (5) has been in the market at his recent starts but hasn't managed to break through, the latest running fourth at Gawler. Expect a bold showing, rates the testing material. AUSTIN RAIDER (8) backing up quickly after placing seven day ago running third at Strathalbyn, among the top hopes again. AHIGA (1) who goes well fresh, resuming from long 10 months break and looks in good shape from recent trial successes, place best. THE MASTER (7) ran an improved race finishing midfield last start at Port Lincoln, capable of getting into the money. CHARADE (9) ran an improved race finishing midfield last start at Murray Bridge when very long odds tackles a longer journey, Keep safe. SELECTION: #5 Olive Grove ready to win.
