2019 VO ROGUE PLATE – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Scout, Dynamic Thinker and Eleven Eleven can show early speed. ALLIGATOR BLOOD (1) is a star three-year-old who showed his class when returning from a let up with a strong win in the Listed Gold Edition. The step up in distance should only suit him better. Has a terrific strike rate and must rate as the one to beat.

DIAMOND THUNDER (2) is on the rise. Made it two from two this time in when a determined winner of the Wyong Magic Millions. Putting together a good record. Threat. ELEVEN ELEVEN (3) was runner up to Alligator Blood last start and while he has to find more to turn the tables he could be in the finish again.

PROFIT (4) showed good ability at his maiden campaign. Might want further but keep him safe. SCOUT (5) knows how to win. One for the exotics.

Alligator Blood enhanced his prospects for the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (RL, 1400m) at the Gold Coast on January 11 with an impressive win to remain unbeaten in two starts this preparation. He was smartly away and then travelled well in third place before moving up to take the lead on straightening. He then drew away to score comfortably, his seventh win from eight starts in a classy performance. Profit, a winner of three of his four prior starts, staged a very nice effort, resuming here, to take second after having a good trip in fourth place on the rails to the home turn. Eleven Eleven who raced in fifth place, tracking the eventual winner, challenged at the 200m and then battled on quite well for third. Diamond Thunder settled nicely in seventh place on the rails, improved between runners on turning for home and then ran on, without threatening, for (3.1 lengths) fourth, finishing just in front of Let It Pour, who made ground from eighth at the turn for (3.3 lengths) fifth.
