2020 AUTUMN STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Most of these can settle handy but think The Holy One is most likely to press on and take it up. MICROPHONE (1) was okay first up. Probably more expected of him but he started to warm to things late on in a messy race and was beaten less than three lengths on the line. Get to see him with a run under the belt now and think the return to 1400m might be what he is looking for based on the fresh effort.
BANQUO (3) will also relish getting back to 1400m after a sound return over 1100m. Beaten for speed in a slowly run race there but strong through the line and he won well at this trip back in the spring.
Stablemate LADY LUPINO (10) also gets up from 1100m and looks better suited. Hasn't fired this season but her 2yo form says that she is well up to the task. WEDGETAIL (5) and WILMOT PASS (7) are fit and firing. They will run well again.
