Japanese horses Mozu Ascot and My Style will not travel to Sydney for the Doncaster Mile because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mozu Ascot had been favourite for the $3 million race on April 4 since he was nominated while My Style was also one of the leading contenders.

A third Japanese horse, Danon Premium, is in transit to Sydney for the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes on April 11 at Randwick.

He is the equal second favourite with English horse Addeybb behind New Zealander Te Akau Shark.

The William Haggas-trained Addeybb has been in Sydney for some weeks and is scheduled to run in Saturday's Group One Ranvet Stakes (2000m).

The Rosehill race meeting featuring five Group One races is scheduled to go ahead with the public locked out.
