Qld turf administrator switches to trots

3 minute read

The Brisbane Racing Club's Scott Steele has been appointed chief executive of the Albion Park Harness Racing Club.

Brisbane Racing Club employee Scott Steele has made the switch to harness racing.

Steele has been appointed the executive manager of the Albion Park Harness Racing Club, replacing Damian Raedler who retired earlier this year.

Steele has been with the BRC for a decade and has been in charge of licensed clubs.

Steele has a strong background in harness racing and is a regular at pacing meetings.

"I've trained a couple of winners, owned a winner and have always loved the sport. I really appreciate the chance," Steele said.

Steele starts at Albion Park in May.
