2020 DARK JEWEL CLASSIC – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Easily one of the toughest races of the afternoon with a host of leading chances in this year's Group 3 Dark Jewel Classic. The capacity field should ensure a solid tempo.

AMANGIRI (1) bounced back to form last start when too strong late in the Hawkesbury Cup. Marked up to her peak there and while this is harder (at the weights), she still rates well off that and shapes as one of the hardest to beat.

DELECTATION GIRL (7) comes into this on the fresh side (35 days), following an eye catching effort in the Coolmore Legacy Stakes. Bowman legs aboard and she has the ratings to be right in the finish. IRITHEA (5) has mixed her form, but is capable and they find JMac, while SWEET SCANDAL (4) also has to be respected off a deserved last start win.
