2020 EAGLE FARM MILE (LORD MAYOR'S CUP) – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Get Stuck In is one the few speed horses so expect him to work across to lead. NICCANOVA (4) is ready to win after running on hard to place at Group level in both runs since a spell. Powered home for a close third in the Stradbroke and has a decent third up record. Has a 50 per cent strike rate at 1600m and goes well here. This looks his chance.

MILITARY ZONE (3) also has his hoof on the till. Ran on well in the Scone Cup and was kept up to the mark with a trial since. Won his only visit here and ready to peak. Danger. GAULOIS (5) was just edged out at Listed level over this distance last start. His ratings suggest he is right up to this.

BEST OF DAYS (1) placed over 2000m last time and has trialled since. He should be hard fit for this. LA PULGA (13) is up in grade but winning form deserves respect.
