RACE 4 (1) LEWIS: Made an impressive return to racing when a comfortable winner over 1600m in heavy ground at Warwick Farm on June 17 when he had no trouble shouldering 60.5kg. Holds more scope for improvement and showed he is ready to go on with it with an unextended third in trial at this course on July 3.
RACE 7 (4) TRUMBULL: His penchant to be tardy from the gates has cost him wins but last time this above average 4YO showed what he is capable of when he jumps on terms by putting away a similar field in the Listed Civic Stakes over 1350m at this course on June 27 with authority. Rises 2.5kg but no reason why he cannot produce a repeat performance providing Tommy Berry can get him to again leave the gates cleanly.
RACE 8 (11) KORDIA: Made a super return to racing after a year off with a storming win from the back half over this course and distance on June 27, taking his record to three wins from only four starts. Appeals as one of the most progressive horses in the Godolphin stable and while rising in grade a 2kg drop in weight off his first-up win should see him meet the challenge.

LEWIS (Rosehill July 3): Last start Warwick Farm winner is ready to score again judging by the way he performed in his 900m open heat. Nash Rawiller was content to sit three ride and merely allowed the promising 3YO to work to the line under no pressure for a soft third.
LADY BANFF (Rosehill July 3); Classy 2YO filly has not gone backwards since her impressive Rosehill win at her first Sydney start. She was always in command of her 900m heat, clocking the fastest time of the morning (54.11; 34.04) to score by a soft 3.5 lengths. Showed class with the way she easily extended away from her rivals over the last 200m.
NORTH PACIFIC (Rosehill July 3); Many have been hanging out for the reappearance of this exciting youngster after his big debut effort in the Silver Slipper Stakes behind top colt Farnan in February. Confirmed his potential with this trial effort, powering to the line under a big hold from last for a hard held second in his 900m heat (54.86; 35.19). Destined to make an impact as a 3YO.
