2020 BLETCHINGLY STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Jungle Edge presses on and looks the leader outside Streets Of Avalon. VIRIDINE (4) kept coming behind JUNGLE EDGE (1) in a strong edition of the Monash last time. Heavy ground and 1100m played to Jungle Edge there. Expecting firmer footing this time and that can turn things around. Viridine won really well in Sydney prior over this trip and was chased along a fair way out back at 1100m. Get a chance to travel for longer now.
STREETS OF AVALON (2) was good enough to in the Futurity at Group 1 level around here in the autumn. Well held in The All-Star Mile at this track before going for a spell. He can use barrier one to land handy and clearly his best is good enough. WIDGEE TURF (3) will be a long way from them in the run but he can close powerfully. Going to be better up to 1400m with a run under his belt but wary all the same.
