Top sprinter Bivouac looks ready to go for his spring campaign after winning a 1050m barrier trial at Randwick this morning.
Having last raced when fifth in the All Aged Stakes in April, Bivouac came clear late in the trial under Hugh Bowman for a dominant win.
Bivouac was a two-time Group 1 winner last season, landing the Golden Rose in Sydney and the Newmarket Handicap in Melbourne.
The trial also saw the return of classy mare Libertini, who was working to the line strongly for third.
An excellent trial from Bivouac who put them away in his trial this morning. @HugeBowman asked for more in the straight and he responded well! @godolphin
