Scone mare It's Me has rocketed into favouritism for the $1.3 million Kosciuszko with a stunning performance to win at Randwick.

Trained by Brett Cavanough, It's Me remains unbeaten in three starts after unleashing a withering finish from back in the field to storm to a three-length victory in the TAB Highway Handicap (1000m) on Saturday.

Regular riderJason Collett says the four-year-old has the attitude of a good horse and while the Kosciuszko is an ideal next step, he believes she can eventually measure up to stakes grade.

"I love her temperament. I was watching her walk around the yard before the start in the birdcage and she was the most relaxed runner, I thought," Collett said.

"She feels so easy doing it against these types of horses but she does give you the feel of a classy filly.

"She has only had three starts and the Kosciuszko is the level she should be heading for."

It's Me firmed from $9 into $3.50 outright favouritism for the Kosciuszko, run at Randwick on October 17, the same day as The Everest.

The Everest meeting could be a big day for Collett, who is booked to ride It's Me in the country feature and top South Australian sprinter Gytrash in the $15 million showpiece.
