Behemoth Gains A Start In the 2020 Everest

In-form sprinter Behemoth is the latest horse to gain a start in the 2020 Everest.

His owners, Grand Syndications, announced on Tuesday afternoon that Behemoth would race in The Star's slot for the 2020 Everest.

Behemoth has been the form sprinter of the early spring in Melbourne, winning his past two starts at Group 1 level in the Memsie Stakes and Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes, both run over 1400m.

Behemoth is unbeaten this campaign having also won the G3 Spring Stakes (1200m) in Adelaide first up.

Behemoth joins the likes of Nature Strip, Gytrash, Classique Legend, Farnan, Rothfire and Tofane as confirmed starters in the 2020 Everest.

The 2020 TAB Everest will be run at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
