Dual Group 1 winning mare Con Te Partiro has been retired.
The Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott stable reported to Racing NSW stewards that the decision has been made to retire Con Te Partiro to stud immediately, ruling her out of the Epsom Handicap.
Con Te Partiro is an American-bred daughter of Scat Daddy who started her career in the US before joining Waterhouse-Bott last year.
She made an immediate impact, winning the Group 3 Dark Jewel Classic at Scone but her biggest accomplishments came earlier this year when she landed the Group 1 double for the mares at the autumn carnival, taking out both the Coolmore Classic and the Coolmore Legacy Stakes.
