2020 UNDERWOOD STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Trap For Fools likely to find the front here with Gailo Chop and Arcadia Queen might be hot on their heels from her low draw. A potentially awkward draw and speed map might be little queries around RUSSIAN CAMELOT (10) but there can be little doubt that he is the one that they all have to beat on the back of his big return in the Makybe Diva at Flemington. Posted wide there but kept coming and the extra 200m only helps.
ARCADIA QUEEN (9) draws to get a softer run. She can camp on the leaders and thought she did enough last time to think that she might get back to something like her best now. That would go a long way to winning it.
MR QUICKIE (6) ran a cracker first up and has to have a hope off that - as does HUMIDOR (2) who returned to form with a fresh win and while more is required of him here we know what he is capable of. HARBOUR VIEWS (8) was okay in the same race and might be next best.
