2020 LADIES DAY VASE – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Fast early pace as Ocean's Thirteen, Nerve Not Verve and Sovereign Award are among those pressing on. PARADEE (2) wasn't far away when resuming, finishing fourth over 1400m here, and given plenty of time to come on for that. She's a nice mare and still improving. Think she runs well.

AFFAIR TO REMEMBER (9) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time and there throughout but found the line strongly, running on to score a long neck win over 1600m at Flemington. Racing pattern can make things tricky but she's got a great close and she's up to winning a race like this.

CHAILLOT (11) was victorious last time over 1400m at Flemington after a long break. Big return and the form looks solid. Mile should suit her and the stable are going well. ONE MORE TRY (7) ran a cracker in the G2 Stocks Stakes at Moonee Valley. No match for the first two there but nothing of their quality in this. She should run well.
