Star Kiwi mare Melody Belle has unfinished business in the Mackinnon Stakes and will return to Melbourne to tackle the 2000m weight for age feature.
Te Akau Racing has confirmed a hit and run mission in Australia for Melody Belle following her dominant win in Saturday's Spring Classic in New Zealand.
Melody Belle was a brave second in last year's Mackinnon Satkes behind import Magic Wand.
Trainer Jamie Richards also confirmed stablemate Avantage would stay in New Zealand to target the feature sprints of the Railway Stakes and Telegraph Handicap over the summer.
