"It was a nice watch to see them all run good races. Poor Anitra, she's run into a couple of good ones at the last couple of starts and it was fantastic to see Chequerboard come out and put in such a bold effort in front."

On the winner: "I think if she didn't win then she would have been very unlucky not to. It was a hard watch halfway down the straight but once she got out she showed that really good turn-of-foot that we know she has."

Magic Millions: "It's definitely an option but I think we'll shorten our sights a bit. There's a nice race at Sandown - a 1400m Listed race for her. I must say that riding her on the speed last start didn't suit her and riding her quiet like that today really showed the good turn-of-foot that she has.

"It was a great ride by Stacky. He got the luck and well done."

Where to for Anitra: "She's been running fantastic all prep. Unfortunately she was beaten today, so I apologise guys. We're just going to have to find a nice race for her. It'll come soon. She could head to the same Sandown race."

Where to for Chequerboard: "I probably wouldn't back her up going into Cup Week but there's the nice Sandown meeting the week after. Or we might place her a bit easier."

Winning Jockey: Daniel Stackhouse

"She didn't have a lot of luck going forward the other day. From that gate I just wanted to ride her patiently and then really hit the line. I think she's got really good ability and she showed it then from an awkward position to win like that. Pretty good."
