"It was just fantastic. She's a mare that's been racing in such good form this whole preparation. Hugh rode her perfectly and gave her every opportunity.
"At one stage it looked like we might have one on our outside that might just keep us in. James got going on his horse (Zaniah) which allowed Hugh to come out and really take her through her gears. She was just phenomenal to the line.
"The benefit here on Tuesday was that she did gallop up the straight. She followed Nature Strip and September Run so I'd say they are two nice horses to follow up the Flemington straight and she did a good job here today.
Denise Martin/Star Thoroughbreds ownership: "She's a big supporter of our stable and to all her owners, we're just privileged to train for fantastic people like them and to get results like this on these big days goes a long way."

Winning Jockey: Hugh Bowman
"I thought maybe the 1100 metres was a bit short of her best distance, but it's a bit of a testing track with that headwind today, so it certainly set up for a horse of her pattern of racing, but she was certainly dominant. I had them covered, pretty comfortable, a fair way out.
"Chris has got her in fine form. I personally thought she felt a bit better in herself this afternoon than she did last start.
"I don't know if we can find another race for her this week, but she's in great order."
Wanting to get outside Miss Iano: "I just wanted something to take me into the race. About the 800 metres, Fiesta really started to travel strongly but I was reluctant to come out and expose at that stage and I wanted to wait a bit longer. The horse on my outside started to weaken, so I came out at my leisure, but I had the horse to do it."
Thinking on Anthony Van Dyck towards Melbourne Cup: "He's certainly one of the leading chances, there's no doubt about that. There's two ways of looking at it, I guess.
"You could say he's got too much weight. If it's not run to suit, the weight will be an issue, but if he gets the right run on a nice pace, and it's a genuinely run race, that will suit him. I think he can win with that weight. I just hope that don't go as slow as they did in the Derby."
Clinton McDonald on favourite Diamond Effort: "We got caught punching the breeze there. The tracks firmed up and she'll go to the paddock now. Nothing has gone right the last couple weeks. We pulled her out at The Valley last week. The rain hasn't come. I said to the owners that this could be a 'booby trap race for her'. Sisstar half-missed the kick and left us in front and you need to be hard up on the fence with that wind today. She'll go for a spell and come back for the autumn and hope for a bit of rain."
