Winning Trainer: Brett Scott
Great preparation: "He is. That was a really good win. Half-way down the straight I thought he might have been a bit of a sitting duck, but when that horse (Hang Man) challenged him, he fought hard.
"The visor and the ear muffs have got him to relax a bit better in the run but also give him a bit of fight at the end in his races. Hopefully we can roll on and if he pulls up alright we can go on to the Ballarat Cup."
<This is Brett Scott's first winner as a trainer over Melbourne Cup week. He says he placed a couple of times riding in the Cup Hurdle but never won it>
Winning Jockey: Daniel Stackhouse
"Unfortunately Michael Walker was unable to ride today but to my fortune I was able to pick it up.
"It was good having the 'bunny' to chase and a big credit to Brett, Kylie and Tyler, they do a great job with their horses and he fought hard.
"He keeps travelling and keeps finding all the way. Brett's done a fantastic job with this horse. He looked terrific today, so congratulations to the team."
On the run: "I thought he was on song when he was going to the gates. He towed me, he felt really good in his action and I thought he was going to run a really good race. He hit the front a long way out and fought hard. When I asked him, he kept giving to me. A big credit to the horse."
