RACE 1

1st Pick: DRONE (8) In his element. Ran a gallant second last start. On that form, he is the horse to beat in this moderate affair.
2nd Pick: DECRETO (6) Put a line through his last race when he was badly crowded at the start. Previous runs had been solid, including a win over 1100m. Will be a factor.
3rd Pick: NINETEEN GALE (3) Novice race was too rich for him last time out. This is more up his street. Blinkers off. Can make amends if he can get cover from the awkward alley.
4th Pick: BRIGHT SUN (1) Ran best race to-date when third to Lim's Force at her last outing. Blinkers off, visors on. Include in calculations.

RACE 2

1st Pick: JUST STARS (2) Seems to be more of a Polytrack horse. Didn't run on as expected when switched to turf last time out. Reunites with Vlad Duric. Big say back on the all-weather.
2nd Pick: FORT MUSTANG (8) Better when ridden positive but has drawn wide again. If Louis-Philippe Beuzelin can get him up with the pace without burning too much gas, he should be in with a shout.
3rd Pick: ZYGARDE (4) Reverts to Polytrack on which he ran his best race on debut one year ago. Might sneak into the minors in this easier bunch.
4th Pick: BARBARIAN (12) Not the best horse Te Akau has sent to Kranji. Down to a grade he may be more competitive but the bad alley makes it a daunting task. Place claims.

RACE 3

1st Pick: MAN OF MYSTERY (1) Down in grade and is on a dangerously good path judged on old form.
2nd Pick: CALIFORNIA (3) Another in good form and must be respected.
3rd Pick: LONGHU (8) Well handicapped on pick of form and can surprise.
4th Pick: TOM CAT (7) Disappointing at his last start but in his defence, he was caught wide throughout. Has drawn out again. With some luck, he can bounce back here.

RACE 4

1st Pick: ASGARD MASSIF (3) A chance can be taken with this James Peters-trained runner judged on a good course and distance run a couple of starts ago.
2nd Pick: LUCKY IMPERATOR (4) Nice win last time out and looks upwardly mobile. One to keep on the right side of.
3rd Pick: BUURAQ (1) The top weight and classy on his day. Should have a part to play in this heat.
4th Pick: HADEER (2) The barrier has not been kind but if he can overcome it, he can take a hand in the finish.

RACE 5

1st Pick: EUNOS AVE THREE (1) Not without ability in this class. Has been trialling a fair bit and with race-jockey Ruan Maia up a few times. Two runs this prep have been full of merit. Has always figured when well drawn, and he will jump from an inside barrier again. Chance to open account.
2nd Pick: DON'T TELL TILLY (7) Turned in a much more encouraging run third-up when breaking from a better draw. Was a lot sharper without the blinkers on. Keep safe.
3rd Pick: CRU BOURGEOIS (3) Lightly-raced sort who has caught the eye on the odd occasion. Not the worst here. Made ground to run sixth to All We Know at his last start. Warrants consideration.
4th Pick: SUPREME FIGHTER (14) Light-framed sort who showed toe on debut and was green as grass. Will have improved from that first run under the belt and has drawn better this time. Can inject some value to your exotics.

RACE 6

1st Pick: FIREWORKS (6) There was plenty to like about the way he steamed home for second last time out. Back over winning course and distance. Nice low draw. Ticks many boxes for a return to winning ways.
2nd Pick: LIM'S UNIQUE (7) Jumped out of the ground late but had to settle for a close-up third to Forever Good at his last run. Will relish extra 200m. One of the leading hopes.
3rd Pick: STORM TO WIN (3) Has form good enough to take a hand in this affair.
4th Pick: NATE'S HONOUR (8) Didn't show up in two runs since Circuit Breaker. Had been showing headway before racing was halted. Place chance if he regains his form.

RACE 7

1st Pick: PINDUS (5) Scored a massive win with blinkers on at his barrier trial last week. Will carry the same gear for the first time. If he brings his sparkling trial form to the races, he will take some beating.
2nd Pick: GOLDEN FLAME (2) Squeezed in home straight at last outing but would not have beaten the winner The August. This is easier and apprentice jockey's three-kilo claim will help as well. Should be thereabouts when the whips are cracking.
3rd Pick: SUN STEP (6) Spent force in home straight after working overtime from a wide barrier to race up with the speed. Barrier one will be a major plus this time. Can atone.
4th Pick: ENTERTAINER (9) After two promising runs, went backwards at his last start even though he had a dream run in the box seat. Senior jockey jumps back on. Deserves another chance.

RACE 8

1st Pick: SACRED REBEL (3) This race looks an ideal fit for this Polytrack specialist who goes extremely well fresh.
2nd Pick: MOON FACE (8) A light weight and returning to this surface can bring out the best in Moon Face here.
3rd Pick: ALTAIR (2) A drop in grade should help matters and he also has plenty of good stats for a race of this nature.
4th Pick: WEBSTER (5) Can go well fresh and is Group 2-placed at best form. Wouldn't shock to see a bold run.

RACE 9

1st Pick: BOOMBA (6) The same connections as last year's winner Inferno and his run when third last time was very good and any rain will also be a plus.
2nd Pick: ABLEST ASCEND (1) The form of his Restricted Maiden win is working out well and is back on the turf and up in trip. Smart horse.
3rd Pick: INFINITE WISDOM (7) Has always been highly thought of and with champion jockey Vlad Duric on, he is a leading contender.
4th Pick: LIM'S STRAIGHT (2) A very taking debut win. He will need to build on that but looks a nice horse going forward.

RACE 10

1st Pick: DAY APPROACH (4) Classy type who can take a bit of stopping. One to follow going forward.
2nd Pick: SUN PALACE (6) Easy winner last time and should go well again here.
3rd Pick: BLUE BLOOD (8) Holding form and proved he can stay the trip last time. Bold show again.
4th Pick: BEER GARDEN (2) A must for the quartet here judged on his last-start performance.
