2020 VILLIERS STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Expecting a solid early tempo as Outrageous sets the tone from the outside with Greysful Glamour kicking up. THROUGH THE CRACKS (12) never got into the race last start when forced to go back from the wide draw. Still closed off well and gives the impression he will be better at a mile. Should relish the return to Randwick and if able to settle closer, he should prove hard to hold out.

CRIADERAS (15) wasn't beaten far in the Golden Eagle last start and has since been kept fresh (42 days). Notably gets the blinkers on for the first time, just hope he isn't left with too much to do on straightening. OUTRAGEOUS (3) is 2/2 this preparation and while up in the weights, he should press forward again and be in this for a long way. 0/5 at the mile a key query.

ROYAL CELEBRATION (7) went down narrowly behind the former in the Festival and should be right at his peak fourth up, has to be included.
