2021 HOBART CUP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Gee Gee Fiorente likely to roll forward with Sir Simon and White Hawk. TOORAK AFFAIR (4) is back to defend her 2020 title carrying 3kg more than she did to win last year. Put a line through the run in the Summer Cup and she's drawn ideally to be given every chance by Anthony Darmanin.

MANDELA EFFECT (2) was strong late in a very slowly run 2200m which perhaps didn't do a lot to enhance his staying credentials. He's proven his quality though and will likely look like the winner at some stage of the race. BARADE (6) is an import who makes his way to Tassie via a last start win in Queensland. He appears to have some x-factor.

DOUBLE YOU TEE (5) has proven himself to be an honest stayer but tends to find one better, placing 10 times since his last win in October 2018. 2019 champ EASTENDER (1) was ridden very cold in the Summer Cup and a bounce back performance wouldn't surprise. His first-up run over the mile was excellent.
