Race 1 - CARPET COURT SHOWCASE CG&E MAIDEN HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

1. Genkides has the best form on the board, splitting Windsweep and subsequent winner Oakfield Hiawatha last start at Scone. He handles all surfaces, will bounce out to make his own luck and blinkers go on for the first time.

Dangers: Joe Pride's debutant 3. Terindah has caught the eye in his two most recent trials, however both were on the synthetic surface. The early money trail suggests he could be smart. 2. Lake Tai also showed something in his trials.

How to play it: Genkides WIN. Odds & Evens: ODDS

Race 2 - HQ INSURANCE SHOWCASE MAIDEN PLATE (1600 METRES)

12. Golden Chances was a beaten favourite at Bathurst last start but gets her chance to atone out the mile, a trip she is looking for now. The runner up there has franked the form since running second at Hawkesbury. This isn't a deep race.

Dangers13. More Excitement did her best work across the line on debut also suggesting that she wants this trip. 9. Amore drops back to country level and has a great grounding for this coming off a 1500m Newcastle run. She was never a threat but this is easier.

How to play it: Golden Chances WIN. Odds & Evens: SPLIT

Race 3 - MICHAEL "MICK" LOCKE MEMORIAL SHOWCASE BM 58 HANDICAP (1600 METRES)

4. Temperate finds a very winnable race back out to the mile. He dropped back to 1350m last start, off a four week freshen, yet still fought out the finish. He is more at home on top of the ground so the drying track is in his favour. Ready to win again.

Dangers7. Kentucky Award is holding his form well at the moment and is versatile in regards to where he settles in his races. His stablemate 10. Sir Eagle was well beaten last start but that was at provincial level.

How to play it: Temperate WIN. Odds & Evens: SPLIT

Race 4 - BOMADERRY BOWLING CLUB SHOWCASE BM 58 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

5. Spectrometer is the most lightly-raced galloper in this field. The last time we saw him he knocked off his maiden over this trip. The Exosphere three-year-old jumps in grade but like the way he trialled this time back.

Dangers4. Salome's recent wet track form isn't flash so he certainly advantaged by this meeting's transfer. Hasn't fired a shot in two heavy track runs but sandwiched in between those failures was a handy win on top of the ground. Well placed.

How to play it: Spectrometer WIN. Odds & Evens: SPLIT

Race 5 - 2ST / POWER FM SHOWCASE F&M MAIDEN HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

10. Luftwaffe has the benefit of race experience and this is one the easiest races she has ever contested.

Dangers: Unraced two-year-old 13. Crystal's Legacy has the speed to hold the inside draw and give cheek.

How to play it: Luftwaffe WIN. Odds & Evens: SPLIT

Race 6 - GO STEEL BUILDING PRODUCTS COUNTRY CLASS 2 PLATE (1400 METRES)

3. Clay Pan Boogie is yet to run a poor race in his six run career and would be surprised if he isn't somewhere in the money again. Just hoping he can settle a pair or too closer from the inside draw before letting down.

Dangers7. Tickler has been around the mark all preparation without really threating. This is no harder so expect him to be thereabouts again. 13. Danzadel appreciated the 1400m last start to break her maiden and can go on with it now.

How to play it: Clay Pan Boogie WIN. Odds & Evens: ODDS

Race 7 - NEWHAVEN PARK SERA COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS QUALIFIER (1400 METRES)

4. Art Cadeau is still yet to finish outside of the quinella in nine career starts! Terry Robinson's four-year-old won a Highway Handicap on a dry track last start over 1100m, lumping 61kg. The son of Artie Schiller was at his most vulnerable yet still found a way to win. He handles all surfaces, will bounce out to settle in the first four, Tommy Berry sticks having ridden him in his last four outings and he handles any surface. Bomb proof.

Dangers: Originally had 6. Leg Work on top with the heavy conditions at Nowra but the drying track tempers that enthusiasm. He has beaten Art Cadeau fair and square in the past but it was on a wet track. 5. Rothenburg comes through the same lead up as Leg Work and also has claims. The shape of the race never gave the backmarkers a hope. 9. Exotic Deel has built up a handy record of 11:4-2-3 and there was a lot to like about her last 100m at Canterbury last start behind Vreneli.

How to play it: Art Cadeau WIN. Odds & Evens: ODDS.

Race 8 - #VISIT SHOALHAVEN SHOWCASE BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

9. No Doubt A Star should get his chance to thunder home over the top of his rivals as he did at this same track and trip two starts ago beating 11. Nostro Re. Last start at Gosford he made steady late ground behind the very speedy Proud Mia.

Dangers: Respect the placement of 10. Blazing Mac here by Joe Pride. This mare ran in deeper races than this last preparation, with the exception of her Canberra maiden win but she belted her rivals. 4. Stone Cold  is the best of the rest.

How to play it: No Doubt A Star WIN. Odds & Evens: SPLIT.
