Trainer Neville Parnham has not given up on an interstate campaign for two of his top stable gallopers.

Platoon and Indian Pacific were unable to secure a flight departing Perth for Melbourne tonight, but all is not lost according to Neville Parnham.

"Bob (Peters) rang me to say only Arcadia Queen and Regal Power were going on the plane from his team tonight," Parnham told The Races WA.

"I was hoping to get one of the remaining other berths, but Chris Calthorpe from the air transport company had committed it to Greg Bond.

"Bondy is talking across Minstrel and needs to be in Sydney quickly.

"But if the Victorian government ease the COVID-19 restrictions all is not lost.

"It all depends on what they do, but we can still get across by plane next week.

"If that's the case then Platoon and Indian Pacific will go to Melbourne."

Interstate plans were confirmed for Platoon after his sizzling last-to-first win in Saturday's Listed Cyril Flower Stakes (1200m).

Racing first-up since the Perth Cup (2400m) in January, the Playing Gold gelding came with a withering finish and scored by a half-length.

Classy sprinter Indian Pacific has not raced since the Miss Andretti Stakes (1100m) in January.

Minstrel, a brilliant winner of the Group 1 Golden Nugget (2536m) at Gloucester Park, will make the rapid trip to Sydney to compete in the Group 1 Chariots Of Fire (1609m) at Menangle on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Parnham said Perth Cup hero Neufbosc had pulled up in super condition after Saturday's run at Flemington.
