WIN: RANGER CEE JAY (Race 7)

EACH-WAY: GRIMESY (Race 5)

VALUE: FOUR OUTLAWS (Race 8)

RACE 1 - 1:05PM TDC Livestock and Property Benchmark 68 Handicap (1100 METRES)

The Opperman stable has a mortgage on this race, with Jamie saddling up three runners and son Jacob riding Rohlon Drunk, who was well backed behind Farooq back in October before a smart win first-up beating Exalted Gold ($7 into $4.40). He has good gate, the claim and is two from four second-up. Stablemate RYTHMATIC looks the danger. He has won six of 18 starts here and was runner-up behind Gigglon two starts back before a good run in town behind Taken off last time. He has to give Rohlon Drunk 4.5kg. Fergie was a good Ararat winner at nice odds last time and has been placed at both starts here. Brobak wasn't beaten far last time and draws a good barrier.

SELECTIONS: ROHLON DRUNK, Rythmatic, Fergie

RACE 2 - 1:40PM Adrian Thomas Industrial Benchmark 64 Handicap (2100 METRES)

Bossy Britches looks the top pick. She ran well at Warrnambool two starts back before proving too good for Centenary Shot at Naracoorte last time. Starts from a tricky gate but has the services of Jason Holder. The scratching of Dyagilev makes her very hard to beat. Love From Lucy draws an inside gate and should get a good run here. Her recent efforts stack up well having chased home Master Of Zerprise and The Red Sea at her past couple. Challicum is unplaced in all six starts here but was a Bordertown winner three runs back and will find this a drop in grade after a handy effort beaten 3.4 lengths behind Master Of Zerprise. CENTURY SHOT made ground from the back behind Bossy Britches last time and has a good record here. BRONSKI ran an improved race behind Von Costa Glass in the Naracoorte Cup last time and draws a good barrier.

SELECTIONS: BOSSY BRITCHES, Love From Lucy, Bronski

RACE 3 - 2:15PM Finns Fine Foods Maiden Handicap (1100 METRES)

Interesting maiden. Case Closed has trialled well for his return to racing and was set to run at Kangaroo Island before being scratched last Thursday. He wears the blinkers for the first time, draws a handy gate and the form out of his debut is good, with Alleboom finishing third. Teesha battled on OK at debut in the same race but would need to improve. Air Time got back and made ground behind Royal Mile here last time. BARNACLES has trialled OK for his debut and is in very good hands with Michael O'Leary, although the wide draw hasn't helped his chances. Goldrhum finished third in the same trial as Barnacles but is also drawn wide.

SELECTIONS: CASE CLOSED, Air Time, Teesha

RACE 4 - 2:50PM Penola Cup Day - Sunday 4 April Three-Years-Old and Over Maiden Plate (1400 METRES)

Ever Onward ran third behind Siberian Route at Strathalbyn on debut in December and was runner-up behind Investiture at Murray Bridge last time. He faces a tricky gate but is hard-fit and must be respected. ROBYN'S FOLLY draws wide but was placed in a Warrnambool maiden two starts back at a price, then ran eighth at Geelong behind Kanzai. Victorian maiden form usually holds up pretty well here and she could be the one with some upside. MAGIC ACHIEVER showed speed in his only start at Naracoorte back in September and the stable is coming off a double at Terang on Monday. Blinkers go off. Salute The Cannons trialled well at Naracoorte back in December and made good ground from well back behind Four Outlaws at Naracoorte on debut. Again he's drawn a touch awkward but looks suited here. Lewandowski wasn't beaten far in a Morphettville trial behind Zakheera, with the impressive Great Diviner running third in that trial. Lewandowksi was off the bit through the middle stages but found the line pretty well. He has the blinkers off, draws the inside and the market will no doubt reflect his chances, but wouldn't surprise to see him run a big race. SUPERB TIME is a former NSW galloper on debut for John Macmillan

SELECTIONS: EVER ONWARD, Salute The Cannons, Lewandowski

RACE 5 - 3:25PM TAB Class 2 Handicap (1100 METRES)

Grimesy has been a steady improver for trainer Shayne Cahill and looked pretty good coming off the speed to beat Charlie's Boy at Gawler. He's back in trip which isn't ideal but he has upside. He looks good each-way value in early markets. Our Boy Bailey has a good fresh record and he defeated Lyrickin's Dream at Gawler back in July. Wild Willy defeated Running Tide to win his maiden here before making ground behind Rohlon Drunk last time. He draws well and has solid each-way appeal. WAR CHEVAL maps well here from barrier four and was good when beaten less than a length behind Rohlon Drunk here last time and is sure to run a cheeky race. Wando Bel is the interesting runner. He bolted in at Casterton in August, winning by five lengths, before again showing speed and fading at Swan Hill. He's placed two of three first-up, draws a good gate and is sure to give them something to chase. Blue Lake Boy  won a Naracoorte maiden three starts back and was good coming from well back behind Wurlie's Lastchance at Naracoorte last time. RUNBRO didn't do a lot at his first two starts for Belinda O'Loughlin but did trial well behind Blueberry Boy.

SELECTIONS: GRIMESY, War Cheval, Our Boy Bailey

RACE 6 - 4:00PM Coopers Benchmark 64 Handicap (1300 METRES)

Wild Colonial Boy has only missed a placed four times in his 17-start career and was good behind Gigglon at Naracoorte first-up from a decent break. He draws well and has placed at two of three second-up runs previously. Stablemate GREETINGS NED was sent out favourite at Bordertown last time but draws wide. Manhattan Arch is the watch here. This is a big drop in class on last time when only beaten 2.2 lengths behind Mr Money Bags at Warrnambool. Manhattan Arch ran OK at Sandown three starts back and looks value at the $8.50 in early markets. ROYAL MILE is a promising type. He was placed at his first two runs before beating Attack The Pin at Naracoorte last time, although that form is only fair. LONGMIRE won at Naracoorte and Bordertown before chasing home Gigglon at Naracoorte last time. He draws out but gets in well with the claim. Raise An Army comes out of stronger races and could be big improver. CANIDAE was  runner-up behind Diamond Tycoon at Balaklava three starts back and was only beaten 2.9 lengths behind Rose Tiara at Gawler last time. CHU CHU CHARLIE has never missed a placed in three runs here and was a Clare Cup winner before a break. Keep an eye on betting.

SELECTIONS: WILD COLONIAL BOY, Manhattan Arch, Raise An Army

RACE 7 - 4:35PM DiGiorgio Family Wines Benchmark 54 Handicap (1100 METRES)

Looks a good race for Ranger Cee Jay. He ran OK when third behind Neodium at Strathalbyn two runs back and then again made ground beaten a length behind Narrative Star at Gawler. The form looks pretty good for this and he draws well. Magichell has won two of five here and wears winkers for the first time. Geandge was heavily backed and just missed at Nhill three starts back before being right in the market at KI behind Not Approved. He was OK at Gawler and must be respected here. Deforce has been placed at all three runs here and was a Bordertown winner three starts back. EIGHT OVER EIGHT was a Port Lincoln winner two starts back but only battled last time. AVID GENERAL is another former NSW galloper with John Macmillan but would need to improve.

SELECTIONS: RANGER CEE JAY, Magichell, Geandge

RACE 8 - 5:10PM The Midfield Group Benchmark 58 Handicap (1700 METRES)

Four Outlaws ran two handy races at Warrnambool before being well backed when a strong winner last time over Back In Action at Naracoorte. He's lightly-raced, looks to have a nice future and will be hard to beat from gate three with Jason Holder riding. Looks over the odds at around $10. Bubblerap has been placed at three of six starts here and ran through the line strongly at Naracoorte last time behind Saduka when he was back towards the inside and might have had excuses. He draws out but is another with upside. Halo's Quest was a good Warrnambool maiden winner last time out and that form should measure up strongly here despite a sticky gate. SADUKA scored a big odds at Naracoorte two runs back, coming off the speed, and backed that up with another good effort at Morphettville behind Mavette last week. O'MIZZNA led and was only reeled in late in the race won by Saduka at Naracoorte. She draws a good barrier with a claim. Daveedo comes here from running second at Esperance last time and was a winner there in December. He's in good hands and has a claim, keep an eye on betting.

SELECTIONS: FOUR OUTLAWS, Bubblerap, Halo's Quest
