Winning Trainer: Richard & Michael Freedman (Michael comments)
On her bounce back from the Magic Millions: "Absolutely, big thrill. There's quite a story behind the filly too in how we've sort of ended up being in the ownership with a great bunch of people. I was a little bit despondent after her run in the Magic Millions, I thought she'd run better and she just didn't cope with the trip at all. But she had a couple of weeks off at Julian Blaxland's farm up in Queensland and he rang me and said she's doing that well you should bring her home and get her ready for something. Yeah, it's just a big thrill. "
On her development: "She's come a long way, I mean it was less than twelve months ago she was going around in midweeks at Canterbury I think. She's just kept improving and maturing which is a bit typical of the breed. Not that I was confident coming into today, but Wajid, full credit to him he does a lot of work with her and he knows her very well and he galloped her Tuesday and said 'Boss, if she's going to win a Group 1 it'll be this Saturday'."
On her improvement: "Yes, she was very very aggressive early on as a young horse and just wanted to do things in too much of a hurry. So we just had to take our time with her and teach her to relax a bit and she's just the full package now. I think she really turned the corner when we sent her to Melbourne and she ran that great race in the Fillies and Mares Group 1 down there. I think the sky's the limit for her, I think she's right up there with some of the best."
On what's next: "I think we'll just see how she pulls up, I mean the Coolmore is only a couple of weeks away which would certainly be worth thinking about. I guess we might even think about a Doncaster later on, who knows, I mean she'd have no weight in it. I think from memory we've kept her in it. I hope we have anyway.
Winning Jockey: Nash Rawiller
On running 1400m: "I wasn't under any pressure to be anywhere. I thought we were two lengths closer in the run. It was more about getting her to travel comfortably and not complicating the race following Tommy Berry's mount . I had the feeling turning for home that I just needed to keep her out of dead ends."
On the run: "I went to come outside Tommy Berry when the split was coming. I just knew she was going to accelerate as I had a lot of horse under me. It was an amazing win."
On winning another G1: "Well done my manager Liam Prior. Been a tough couple of weeks trying to settle into Sydney. He stuck to his guns and hope the next three months are no different."
Beaten Jockeys:
Hugh Bowman (Montefilia): "It was a good return. She is looking for further obviously."
Glen Boss (Away Game): "She was disappointing but she got really hot and agitated today which is really not like her. She got upset about something and over-raced throughout the whole race. She never gave herself a chance to run seven furlongs."
Tommy Berry (Dame Giselle): "Not sure what to make of her."
Tom Sherry (Every Rose): "Good run. Maybe just back to the 1200m."
James McDonald (Hungry Heart): "We went back today. Had a bit much to do but she made steady ground late."
Jason Collett (Never Talk): "Great effort. Tried hard."
Tim Clark (Vangelic): "Much improved performance which we expected she would put in. Really happy with her"
Tom Marquand (La Mexicana): "Not ideal coming out of the gates beforehand to get checked. Probably just did her head a bit. Not sure to be honest."
Rachel King (Thermosphere): "Gave a really good kick at the top of the straight then lacked that extra bit at the end."
Robbie Dolan (Elizabeel): "She is crying out for a mile. She ran really well."
Brenton Avdulla (Joviality): "She had the right run I thought. Just a little bit disappointing not to finish it off."
Andrew Adkins (Philizzy): "Got good pozzy throughout. Back in grade and back in trip."
Sam Clipperton (Love Sensation): "Good run. She probably just lacks a bit of class. Certainly tries very hard."
Josh Parr (Miravalle): "Found the seven furlongs too sharp. Just wants another run."
Jay Ford (Eight Diamonds): "Probably a still little bit inexperienced to race at that grade."
