Winning Trainer: Chris Waller (Jo Taylor interviewed)
"He came down and travelled in fantastic order. Chris (Waller) was down yesterday for the first time in a long time and he was quite bullish about his chances and he thought he'd run a really good race and he certainly warranted Chris' confidence."
All-Star Mile: "He's just as honest as the day is long. Especially on the wet tracks, you know that those are going to benefit him, just as much so no matter what comes up in the next few weeks. We managed to get a ticket in the All-Star Mile so that was a big tick today.
"He doesn't really know to run a bad race so he's down here now, we'll take him to The Valley to have a nice look around there and get accustomed to the circuit as we know it can be tricky sometimes. But, we're in it."
Waller's arrival and getting the place cleaned up: "There was a warning but I don't know if it was enough time. Not by Chris' standards. Don't know if it's going to be another year before his next appearance but hopefully it'll be more regularly now and it's always fantastic to see our fearless leader."
Winning Jockey: Damian Lane
"I just let the horse tell me, really. He travelled really well. I wasn't worried about the leader because of how hard they went - he was going to be a statue late. I was more worried about if I was dragging anything off my back like Fifty Stars.
"Fortunately enough I got there at the right time and he was strong enough to fend off the challenger. So honest and the last couple of years he's run some big races in Group 1s. The form around him is really strong and suited well today."
All-Star Mile: "I'll ride the mighty mare Probabeel but this bloke will run a good race."
