Tasracing are pleased to advise that the winner of the 2021 Vote to Win All-Star Mile Competition is Tom from Launceston, who has chosen the $5,000 cash prize.

Voters were eligible for the competition by voting for either Still A Star or Mystic Journey for the 2021 All-Star Mile and sending their confirmation through to Tasracing.

Tom submitted his vote for Still A Star, being familiar with her story through his role as a journalist.

"I've followed her success as a three-year-old and often had to cover her stories myself," said an excited Tom.

Still A Star returned to racing after a year off with a win in last Wednesday's Armidale Stud Vamos Stakes and Tom thinks the Bill Ryan trained mare will acquit herself well in the race on 13 March.

"The likes of Arcadia Queen will be very hard to beat but we know she'll have a good crack."

Tom was surprised at winning the Vote to win All-Star Mile Competition but said it was fantastic news to receive.

"Thanks to Tasracing and wow, what a thrill."
