Racing Victoria has made the call to move the Cranbourne meeting on Wednesday to Moe.

Following a RV stewards' inspection on Tuesday, they deemed a wet patch between the 650m and the 500m to be unsafe for racing.

With more rain forecast and the affected part of the track being unlikely to recover, the call was made to move the meeting to Moe.

The track at Moe was rated a Heavy 8 on Tuesday.

Moe was scheduled to host a meeting on Saturday, but with Wednesday's transfer, that meeting has been moved to Bairnsdale.

With that transfer, nominations have been reopened and will close on Wednesday with acceptances to be taken on Thursday.

All scratchings for the Cranbourne meeting have been reinstated with trainers having until 7.30am on Wednesday to withdraw their horses from the Moe meeting.
