RACE 1 - 12:31PM TAB Handicap (1000 METRES)

The Travis Doudle pair of BROTHER'S SHADOW and PRINCESS RAFFLES could fight this one out. BROTHER'S SHADOW was strong late, overpowering rivals at Gawler on debut, and jumped out smartly beating Extra Time in a recent Morphettville jump-out. Stablemate PRINCESS RAFFLES was an eye catcher in the Magic Millions 2YO at Murray Bridge, coming from a long way back to run into third spot behind Scorched Earth. She'll get a lovely run here from barrier two. HERITAGE DANCE is a Lindsay Park youngster who had good market support at Bendigo on debut when finishing off well, but has drawn a sticky wide gate. KARACASU was a $160k yearling and looked good in a recent Morphettville jump-out. BLUE LINE raced on seed and tired behind Yulong Turbo on debut back in December, but jumped out well at Murray Bridge recently.

SELCTIONS: BROTHER'S SHADOW, Princess Raffles, Karacasu

RACE 2 - 1:06PM Chalk Hill Handicap (1000 METRES)

Good race. TAKEN OFF is unbeaten in two starts this track and trip and is chasing four wins on end. He draws wide but is impossible to knock and can win again. EXTRA TIME looks a big danger. He's first-up and comes out of some strong races. He was narrowly beaten in the G3 McNeil Stakes second-up in the spring and was too good Mileva and Celestine back here in Adelaide before chasing home September Run in the G1 Coolmore. He wasn't asked to do a lot in a recent Morphettville jump-out but looks a big danger and is very backable at the $5. ALLEBOOM was underdone first-up when hammered in the lead before sticking on well at Flemington in a hot field behind Capriccio last time. He draws a nice gate and could be ready to peak. BRIMARVI ROOBOY has a good record here and was a winner this track and trip back in August. He has the blinkers off. ELDERFLOWER is now in the Michael Hickmott yard and was a Moonee Valley winner three starts back before a solid effort behind Taken Off on the outer track last time. She draws to get a gun run. PROPELLE ran favourite at Caulfield five runs back and comes out of the Listed Bob Hoysted when well beaten. She draws the inside and looks an improver.

SELECTIONS: TAKEN OFF, Extra Time, Alleboom

RACE 3 - 1:41PM Autumn Racing Carnival at Morphettville (May 1st-15th) Handicap (1000 METRES)

CHOSEN BLONDE is a nice horse who chased home Written Beauty at Moonee Valley before another solid run when second to All Banter here. That form stacks up very well for a race like this. She draws a nice gate and will be hard to run down. BEAU ROSSA is a promising type who beat Nicconi Express here in November before covering ground behind Tradewind in the VOBIS Stockade race at Ballarat. He maps to get a nice run here and has solid claims. KIRINIA is a nice horse with a good first-up record. She hasn't raced since a fair effort behind Baraconi and has never been around this circuit but draws a perfect gate and has the claims. BARACONI has been placed at all three runs here and was on speed when run down by Outlaws Revenge and Murray Bridge last time. DIVENIRE is a progressive type who raced greenly late on debut before winning smartly at Murray Bridge last time. KUNGKA MARU was in the market in the same race and made ground in fourth spot.

SELECTIONS: CHOSEN BLONDE, Beau Rossa, Kirinia

RACE 4 - 2:16PM South Adelaide Panthers Football Club Handicap (1400 METRES)

Another race with some promising types here. CASINO SEVENTEEN was very good first-up from a spell at Balaklava. He stays at 1400m, should be fitter here and defeated Biarchi at Gawler in October. BIARCHI is a promising staying filly who came into her own at 1800m last campaign. She was far from disgraced in the Oaks in Melbourne. She only got warm last start, when first-up behind Struck By at Murray Bridge, but strips fitter here and looks an improver. MORTY is an interesting horse. He went around $101 on debut, won his maiden at $1.60 and was good behind Justica at Murray Bridge, but draws a sticky gate. BRIBERY was good last time when making ground behind Outlaws Revenge. GRACIEBIRD resumed here and was a Murray Bridge winner before winning well behind Biarchi. She was well in the market at her last run before a break. SHOWUSYOUMOTOR is a filly with some upside and can figure.

SELECTIONS: CASINO SEVENTEEN, Morty, Biarchi

RACE 5 - 2:56PM Terry Howe Printing Maiden Plate (1250 METRES)

Even race on paper. POINT BLAZE has been placed at two of five starts and will find this easier than last time behind Struck By who won smartly at Morphettville on Monday. Her previous behind Daily Spirit was good and she gets her chance here from a good draw. She has come up skinny in the market. YULONG HERO looks value. He trialled well at Gawler before he wasn't asked to do a lot in a Morphettville trial. He draws a good gate and must be kept very safe on debut for the Will Clarken stable. GRAFTON AVENUE is on debut for Travis Doudle and had three jump-puts last year. He wears the blinkers and must be given plenty of thought. SANBLAS ran really well on debut behind Better at Balaklava, this is a rise in class and he has drawn a poor gate. ZERO INN trialled well at Penola and must be respected. Ryan Balfour saddles up four runners. They include MAGICAL RIDE, a first starter who was placed in a recent Morphettville jump-out when wearing blinkers, and SCARLET RIVER, who was placed on debut behind Pimm's Party.

SELECTIONS: POINT BLAZE, Yulong Hero, Grafton Avenue

RACE 6 - 3:36PM Holdfast Insurance Handicap (1000 METRES)

HUFFINGTON has won three of six starts and was a $2.70 (favourite) winner at Cranbourne three starts back, before being beaten 3.4 lengths behind Quesadila last time. She maps nicely here from barrier four and will take some gunning down. SPANISH HEIRLOOM has won her past three back in class, the latest two at Port Lincoln. She draws a gate and can run a cheeky race. CHAMPAGNE AFFAIR was a big drifter before winning at Balaklava back in September. She had some form around some handy types and must be given some thought here. HATEECH was a Gawler winner before a spell and was good beating Smartkap first-up from a spell. CALIPARI is back in SA and now with Shayne Cahill, so keep an eye on the market.

SELECTIONS: HUFFINGTON, Spanish Heirloom, Hateech

RACE 7 - 4:21PM Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1400 METRES)

Open race with a few leading chances drawing wide. ANGASTON has been going super and loves the 1400m. He stuck on well in a leader-dominated race behind Territory Titan last time. OH MO draws wide and should be ready to fire after two runs back from a spell. He was a winner here over 1250m three starts back. PHYLA VELL went to Port Lincoln and won twice. She's also drawn wide but her best is good enough for a race like this. LAKE'S FOLLY maps well from barrier two and ran through the line strongly behind Territory Titan last time. JUSTICA draws the inside and was strong winning at big odds last time. SADENTE was another who was good winning at Murray Bridge last time and should be right in the mix here. ALSVIOR has two wins from five starts here and defeated The Difference here back in September. CROCKETT was well beaten at Sandown last time but is a winner here and the stable has made a few gear changes.

SELECTIONS: LAKE'S FOLLY, Angaston, Sadente

RACE 8 - 5:01PM Furphy Handicap (1550 METRES)

Another open race on paper. DOES IT was good when making ground from a long way back here behind Neodium last time. He draws perfectly in barrier two and should take beating, with the jump from 1400m to 1550m looking ideal. MULLAGHMORE has ran through the line strongly at both runs this time in and getting out to the mile suits. He's going to need a touch of luck from the gate. NO STRINGS has talent and was runner-up behind Struck By three starts back before leading throughout to win his maiden last time. Stablemate HEIMBERG made good ground behind Mavette last time but is drawn a sticky gate. FULTON STREET gets in well with the claim but has placed just once in six starts here.

SELECTIONS: DOES IT, Mullaghmore, No Strings

Race 9 - 5:40PM Accolade Wines Handicap (1250 METRES)

TONY'S REWARD has been good since coming to SA and came off the speed to beat Viduka here last time – and that form stood up at Morphettville on Monday. He's drawn a wide, but looks hard to beat with the help of the claim. SKILLED BUNCH was a winner here back in August, beating Annika, and on her best form would be right in this. She's back in trip and awkwardly drawn. MISS CARBONI was good when leading throughout to win at Gawler last time. She maps well from a good gate and looks right in this despite the obvious step up in class. ROSE TIARA wears the blinkers for the first time and was good winning at Gawler before being reeled in late behind Lope De Wolf last time. ROHLON DRUNK is going super back in class. He draws well, gets a claim and was placed his only start here back in September. BEERZ WITH CLINT ran well at his SA debut, making ground behind New Roman, and he maps well for this. GALCRUM ran well behind Puissance Dusoleil last time and gest the blinkers for the first time.

SELECTIONS: TONY'S REWARD, Miss Carboni, Skilled Bunch
