2021 GEORGE RYDER STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Good early pace assured with Samadoubt, Dreamforce and Kolding matching motors. AVILIUS (2) only went down narrowly in the Chipping Norton Stakes when just peaking on his run late. Sure to derive good benefit from that hit-out and sets up well back to 1500m getting onto a wet track. Hasn't won in over 500 days, but this looks one of his best chances.
FUNSTAR (11) has been rock solid in both runs back this time in and should be right at her peak third up. Handles all conditions and looms as a major threat. KOLDING (1) is not at home on the wet, but continues to front up and run well. Back to 1500m another tick for him. DREAMFORCE (3) looks a likely improver second up, but he'll need to.
