Winning Trainer: Matthew Smith

On the win: "It's been a long term plan to get her into some of these better races over the carnival. A bit of a setback so it's been a big effort by the team to get this mare back into form and right today, six weeks in between runs. I think it was a pretty big effort so I've got to be very proud of the team at home. She's done very well. "

On the setback: "She had a stone bruise, a foot infection and it took about a week and a half to come out. Then you've got to try and get them back into the rhythm of their preparation. When you get stopped mid-prep it's hard to sometimes get them back into that rhythm. So the team has just done a super job to get her back, get her here today in good order."

On the ride: "She (Rachel King) was confident about how she wanted to ride her, so we'll leave her to her job. She's ridden her a couple of times now, rode her in the trial during the week. She was very happy with her and it all worked out today thank goodness. "

On tracking Greysful Glamour in the run: "Yeah, find the grey's back. She felt she could take her into the race and that's how it panned out so it's good.

On what's next: "We'll go two weeks into the Coolmore and see what happens after that."

Winning Jockey: Rachel King

On the win: "All credit to Matt and his team today, it was a big effort to get her back and perform so well with six weeks between runs."

"She had just about had enough by the end, but she was too tough."

On going forward: "There is definitely improvement to come with her, she would have taken a lot out of today and is certainly back on track. She's a nice mare."

Beaten Jockeys:

Tim Clark (Krone): "She ran below expectations today."

James McDonald (Greysful Glamour): "She went super. Just got pressured in the middle stages but she fought on well."

Josh Parr (Quantum Mechanic): "Really good effort. Just her way on the bend, cost us momentum. Hit the line really well."

Hugh Bowman (Sweet Deal): "I think he might have a broken heart."

Damien Oliver (Rich Hips): "Track is a bit of a joke."

Tom Marquand (Irithea): "She jumped OK to get outside the leader really well. First up just took it toll."

Brenton Avdulla (All Saints' Eve): "She ran well. Track is probably a bit too firm for her. She is racing well but needs an even go to win the bigger ones."

Kerrin McEvoy (Icebath): "Really good run. She had to go back from the barrier. Hit the line really well. She is going well the mare."

Jay Ford (Amica): "She didn't disgrace herself. She was right up in grade today and I thought she held on well."
