The stable quartet includes Oceanic Flash ($1.95 favourite on TAB), Tectonicus ($1.95 fav), Chaleur Bay ($5) and Ovoid ($4).

The Kiwi-bred Oceanic Flash opens the day in the 2100m De Bortoli Wines Maiden Plate. The three-year-old has placed in two of his last three starts. He was a close second in a Gosford class 1 2100m event last start on March 27, has drawn nicely and Josh Parr has the mount.

Tectonicus has been knocking on the door with placings at both starts this prep. The 3yo will contest the TAB.com.au Class 1 handicap (1600m) with Tyler Schiller claiming 2kg. Tectonicus was a close second at Wyong first-up before a placing behind the smart Blue Missile at Kembla last start.

The unraced 2yo colt Ovoid makes his debut in the Carlton Draught Maiden Plate (1350m). He was very impressive in winning a Rosehill trial on March 29.

The unraced filly Chaleur Bay runs in the Markets 2259 at Wyong Race Club April 11 Maiden (1100m). She is unbeaten in two trials.

RACE 1, DE BORTOLI WINES MAIDEN PLATE, 2100M: Oceanic Flash ($1.95 fav) hasn't been far away in recent starts and this is a winnable race. He ran on when runner-up over this trip at Gosford last start and from the favourable barrier, Josh Parr should give him every chance. Bedford Square ($4.20) has placed in all three starts this prep and Sassysav ($2.90) had no luck at Newcastle.
SELECTIONS: 1 OCEANIC FLASH, 6 BEDFORD SQUARE, 9 SASSYSAV

RACE 2, GO ELECTRICAL PROVINCIAL & COUNTRY MAIDEN HANDICAP, 1350M: Bright Eyed Girl ($1.90 fav) is a stand-out in this race. She set up a big lead when run down late at Scone last start. She was placed first-up at Newcastle on February 6 in a better field than this. All At Sea ($8) trialled okay at Newcastle recently and Circus Bound ($8) has been placed twice in the country recently.
SELECTIONS: 1 BRIGHT EYED GIRL, 3 ALL AT SEA, 4 CIRCUS BOUND

RACE 3, CARLTON DRAUGHT MAIDEN PLATE, 1350M: Akihiro ($2.10 fav) ticks all boxes here as all his three starts have been in top company. He was runner-up to Captivant in the Victory Vein in October and after a spell he finished fifth in the Pierro. The colt finished down the course in the Black Opal before winning a Warwick Farm trial on March 23. Ovoid  ($4) is on debut after some nice trials and he should run well. Spicy Restaurant  ($4.40) has sound country form but note he is also entered at Goulburn on the same day.
SELECTIONS: 8 AKIHIRO, 9 OVID, 4 SPICY RESTAURANT

RACE 4, TAB.COM.AU CLASS 1 HANDICAP, 1600M: Tectonicus ($1.95 fav) is ready to win following two solid placings recently. He was narrowly beaten first-up on this track on February 25. Last start he ran on well when placed behind the smart Blue Missile at Kembla. His only win was over this trip at Canterbury in August and Tyler Schiller will claim 2kg on Thursday. Valiant Lad ($2.30) was a strong Canberra winner in his second start recently and Senor Toba ($5) should improve with one runer under his belt.
SELECTIONS: 1 TECTONICUS, 5 VALIANT LAD, 2 SENOR TOBA

RACE 5, MARKETS 2259 AT WYONG RACE CLUB APRIL 11 MAIDEN, 1000M: Shadow Colour ($7.50) resumes on the back of a 6 length Warwick Farm trial win. He has been placed in 10 of his 11 starts and is an on-pacer perfectly drawn. He has been placed in better fields and Josh Parr has the mount. Hard to Excel ($5) is on debut after an easy Rosehill trial win and Mareeba ($4.20 fav) has good trial form.
SELECTIONS: 1 SHADOW COLOUR, 6 HARD TO EXCEL, 4 MAREEBA

RACE 6, JIM BEAM CLASS 1 HANDICAP, 1350M: Sammy's ($3.80) only win was on this track in September and he is well placed to win this race. He was runner-up first-up at Canterbury on February 28 and wasn't comfortable on the heavy track when down the course on the Kensington Track last start. Saquon ($2 fav) has his hoof on the till after two placings in strong fields this prep. Hidden Hills ($6.50) has the rails barrier and placed second-up at Gosford recently.
SELECTIONS: 1 SAMMY, 2 SAQUON, 9 HIDDEN HILLS

RACE 7, GREAT NORTHERN BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP, 1350M: Buzz ($9.50) has had five starts at Wyong for two wins and two seconds. On March 9 he was held up on the home turn when a fast-finishing second to Isorich on this track. He has a soft draw and a 2kg claim for Brandon Griffiths. All three of his runs have been on soft or heavy tracks. Isorich ($6) bounced back to winning form on this track last start and he will be hard to beat. Niccirose ($12) was an easy Scone trial winner and he can lead.
SELECTIONS: 1 BUZZ, 2 ISORICH, 4 NICCIROSE

RACE 8, WYONG'S NEXT RACE MEETING APRIL 29 B/M 64, 1100M: Miss Kono ($5) is flying this prep with two wins and a second from three starts. She stormed home from way back when she won on this track last start. She was a brilliant winner first-up at Newcastle in January. Ranges ($4.40 fav) resumes after trialling well and he has the rails barrier. Henschel ($9) has good country form and bolted in with a recent trial.
SELECTIONS: 5 MISS KONO, 2 RANGES, 1 HENSCHEL
