On Monday, 05 April 2021, Trainer S Gray advised that CAVALLA COURT (V Duric), in his opinion, had to work too hard in the early stages to cross runners and was then taken on in the lead and as a result, weakened under a big weight in the straight. He added that the horse had passed a subsequent veterinary examination and he will continue with the preparation.

On Monday, 05 April 2021, Trainer R Le Grange advised that PHAXE (T See), in his opinion, had not handled the quick back up after racing on 27 March 2021. He added that the horse had passed a subsequent veterinary examination and he will continue with the preparation.

On Monday, 05 April 2021, Trainer KY Young could offer no tangible explanation for the performance of ARION SUCCESS (S John) other than the gelding was obliged to race wide throughout. He added that the horse had passed a subsequent veterinary examination and he will continue with the preparation.
