2021 SYDNEY CUP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

A solid pace on the cards - Sacramento, Great Idea and Hush Writer all press forward. FAVORITE MOON (10) proved too good in the N E Manion Cup last start and remains open to good improvement stepping up to 3200m. McEvoy sticks and he should be fairly prominent from the inside draw. Has to take that next step, but he is expected to.

REALM OF FLOWERS (13) comes out of the same form race and was arguably the best closer. On the improve and gets in well at the weights. Major threat. SOUTHERN FRANCE (2) closed off well enough in the Tancred Stakes last start and should be right at his peak third up. McDonald legs aboard and he gets his chance at the weights. Major threat. SHE'S IDEEL (12) is the weight horse and has to be respected if able to repeat her level of performance from the Tancred.
