Winning Trainer: Greg Eurell

"It was a big effort, a narrow effort (margin), but it was a big effort. Full credit to 'Rita' herself. It was a big job. She drew poorly and she never had it easy in the run. She was trapped wide, as we saw. To her credit she kept digging in and the runner-up is no slouch either so it was a good effort.

"There's no doubt she has talent but she's such a big horse and took a while to mature but she's just starting to get into her right time now.

"With that, we'll probably head to Adelaide and the Australasian Oaks and see if she can run 2000 metres."

Winning Jockey: Jamie Mott

"I had a great run throughout and I thought Beau Rossa might be held up a fraction so I thought if I get on my bike and get going, my horse sprinted really hard and I was surprised that Beau Rossa did challenge me because mine didn't peak at all.

"Inside the final 70 metres, Beau Rossa got up alongside me and I half thought I might be done but she stuck her head out and wanted to win."

Oaks potential: "Yes, definitely. She's a really nice filly."
