Winning Trainer: Tony & Calvin McEvoy (Calvin speaking)
"She's never had a fantastic head-carriage. She's quite a difficult ride. I think William did the right thing but it just took a while. You've just got to go with her.
"That was fantastic. She's a very quick filly. She's won over 955 (metres) but she's versatile and she can run a strong 1100 metres and I think she can run out 1200 as well.
"We wanted to come back here and get a bit more black type if we could and I think she's earnt a chance at the Sangster now.
"She's a multiple stakes winner now so a Group 1 win or placing is what we need to chase now. She's stepped out of the shadows of her big sister and she's been a tremendous filly and mare for her connections as well."
Pike aboard: "Very nice to have Willie. He's difficult to get and I've been trying to get him on quite a few for a while but it worked out well this week and he'll certainly be offered the ride (again)."
Winning Jockey: William Pike
Any pre-race warnings from the stable re horse's head-carriage: "There was plenty of warning by the whole camp and even Luke Currie said 'do not fire her up'. I suppose they know her spot on and they were right.
"I thought I had her early and then she said 'think again'. I spoke to Tony on the phone this morning and he said 'whatever happens don't fight her'. She's very brave to run on after overracing but I suppose that's her. I think she likes a fight."
At which point did he feel he had her under control: "Cantering back after the race."
