Winning Trainer: John O'Shea
On Jamie Kah: "I thought it was an omen when we were in the Carr Stakes that is was only appropriate we engage Jamie and it has turned out a nice thing."
Nice horse: "She's had not a lot of luck with barriers and today is the first time she drew a gate where she could get a nice run in the race and she has been crying out for 1400. This is the race we set her for when she came back into work so it's a nice little plan come together and it's just testament to a wonderful group of people we have at home doing all the work. There's a young French lass called Ali who rides her every day and she's done a great job with her."
Plans going forward: "We will just see how she is. To be honest, she's still in tremendous form so we will just see how she is when she gets home and what's available for her but she's got a very bright future."
Winning Jockey: Jamie Kah
On the run: "She has been very unlucky not to draw a nice gate. We got that today. I was worried there was not going to be enough pace on for her. In the end they rolled around with a nice tempo. All the gaps opened and she was very strong on the line."
On the filly: "She had plenty left on the line. Stepping her up in trip really suited her even more. It was great to get my first winner for John."
On the track: "Feels like it is a drying track. Quite firm under foot. I think we'll get a perfect surface for racing."
Beaten Jockeys:
James McDonald (Matchmaker): "She is a nice filly. Just wants a bit of give in the ground. Wants to do less work."
Tommy Berry (Kiku): "She just wanted to rear at the start which she did prior to jumping. She had too much of a job from back there. She's done well."
Robbie Dolan (Elizabeel): "Good run. Just nabbed on the line."
Rachel King (Geist): "Really good run first time at this trip. She's getting better and better."
Kerrin McEvoy (I Say Hello): "Good run. She hit a flat spot at the 400m but built through the last furlong nicely. She might run a mile."
Kathy O'Hara (Sweet Reply): "Probably a bit disappointing. Plans to maybe give her a break and bring her back for the Spring."
Tim Clark (Nicci's Fling): "She ran well. Had a nice run when presented."
