Savatoxl and Native Soldier possess good early speed and will battle for early honours. First of the group races is the DC McKay Stakes. VIRIDINE (1) is the best horse here as the weights suggest. Given he's taken on even better than this you can imagine he'll settle back and come with a sweeping run.
SWORD OF MERCY (2) is the other with the sort of form who can win. Her effort in the Oakleigh Plate was excellent. NATIVE SOLDIER (3) was a bit rusty after a long time off. He can improve off that at his best. PANDEMIC (5) drops in depth and likes it fresh. SAVATOXL (6) will give a kick for a while.
