"It's quite remarkable what this horse has done. Coming off such a long break and winning at Caulfield and then backing up second-up two weeks later and doing it again, he's a very promising horse."

Hit a flat spot in the straight: "That'd be the second-up run. I'll probably give him a little freshen up now and we'll come up with a program for him. He's probably going to stretch out to a mile as well. I think with anything with this horse, he's that good that nothing will worry him.

"He's given me the feel since day one that he's a group horse. They don't do what he's just done second-up in two weeks and winning again.

"It's very exciting to have a horse of his calibre in the yard and exciting for the future."

"It was a tactical affair. He began nicely for me and was happy to see his stablemate bunching up on the inside and making Yulong January do that bit of work and we were able to tuck in nicely, stalking throughout the journey.

"I had a bit of confidence from the 600 metre mark. I always thought I would be the winner but he did hit a bit of a flat spot but I just put that down to the firmness of the ground. It is a genuine Good 3 and he's a horse that does like a bit of cut in the ground so for him to come here and do that on a firm track second-up, it's a great effort.

"He's got that big head on him and he loved to poke it out as we saw at Caulfield. He was great and, once again, credit to Nick and his team. Not only have they presented this horse in great order first-up, but they've done it again second-up. You don't see that too often."
