Kris Lees today confirmed Bowman would partner the gelding in a 1200m trial; the opening heat of a 16-trial session.

It is the only 1200m heat, and Mugatoo will trial against seven rivals, including stablemates Attention Run, Loveisili and Urbino.

Attention Run is one of 25 entries, and with 54kg, is guaranteed a start in the $250,000 Listed Gosford Gold Cup (2100m) at Saturday's inaugural The Coast stand-alone meeting.

Bowman rode Mugatoo  brilliantly to land the $5m All-Star Mile triumph at The Valley on March 13, and also was aboard when he raced on both days of The Championships at Royal Randwick.

Mugatoo finished fourth to Cascadian in the Group 1 $3m Doncaster Mile on April 10, and sixth (beaten less than two lengths) to British Bulldog Addeybb in the $4m Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) a week later.

The $700,000 Group 1 Doomben Cup (2000m), run at weight-for-age, will be held on May 22.

"This will be Mugatoo's only run in Brisbane during the winter," Lees said today.

"Depending on the weather, I will probably keep him at home for a while yet before he goes to our Gold Coast base."

As well as Attention Run, Lees has nominated Raheen House (58kg), Aliferous (54kg) and recent Gosford winner My Swashbuckler (54kg) for the Gosford Cup.

I Say Hello, Grande Rumore and Game Of Thorns are Lees' entries for the $500,000 The Coast (1600m) for three and four-year-olds, and Enchanted Heart is his sole nomination for the $150,000 Listed Takeover Target Stakes (1200m).
