2021 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN DERBY – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
From this starting point, it usually generates good speed. Quite an interesting South Australian Derby on Saturday. EXPLOSIVE JACK (1) comes off winning the Australian Derby when well supported a month ago. He came from well back to just get up but he was so strong late. LIQUEURO (3) has shown he is a stayer on the rise with his last couple of wins. On breeding he should only be starting to get hot now.
DEEPSTRIKE (6) had excuses in the lead up Chairman's Stakes. That may mean he is ready to fly in this and will stay. PERSONAL (15) hasn't won this time in but is getting closer. Her last was the VRC Oaks over this journey. LET'S KARAKA DEEL (4) is another of these slow maturers. His VRC Derby effort was fine.
