Miss Hipstar continues to tick all the boxes for trainer Kelly Schweida ahead of the Group 2 Spirit Of Boom Classic at Doomben on Saturday.
Kelly Schweida will send Miss Hipstar around in the 1200-metre feature – formerly known as the Champagne Classic - hoping to get a better guide whether she'll run further.
Miss Hipstar is targeting the Group 2 Sires' Produce Stakes over 1400 metres at Eagle Farm on May 29 and if she copes with the extra trip, may head to the 1600-metre Group 1 J.J. Atkins on June 12.
Victory in the J.J. Atkins would give Schweida his third win at the highest level after he claimed the Group 1 Tatt's Tiara with Miss Cover Girl and Nova Star in 2016 and 2007 respectively.
Miss Hipstar showed she was one of the State's best two-year-olds when she made a stunning comeback to win the Listed Dalrello Stakes over 1000 metres at Eagle Farm on May 1.
The daughter of Star Turn has won three of her five starts, all for multiple Group 1-winning jockey Larry Cassidy, who has the ride again.
Schweida has taken heart from Cassidy's assessment of her ability to run 1600 metres in the J.J. Atkins.
"I don't know if she will get 1600 metres or not but she switches off like she'd run it and Larry gives me a lot of faith," Schweida said.
"He's no fool and has ridden more than 40 Group 1s while I've only trained two.
"He thought she would win the Dalrello after doing the form and that was after she only had one jump out."
Schweida was disappointed with barrier 12 for Miss Hipstar, who has shown her versatility by leading or sitting off the pace in some of her wins.
"She's going good and I haven't had to do a lot with her after she won the Dalrello," he said.
"But I'm very disappointed with her draw, if you get caught three deep around Doomben you're no chance.
"I want to see her race well but I wouldn't like her to have a gut buster ahead of the Sires' Produce.
"She'll run in the Sires' then we'll re-assess her to see if she goes to the J.J. Atkins."
Miss Hipstar was bred by Basil Nolan at Raheen Stud and is the first horse Schweida has trained for the famous Darling Downs breeder.
