Winning Trainer: Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young (rep by Sam Griggs)
"One word to sum him up, he's just tough. He's honest, you know what you're getting from him. Has the penchant for the softer tracks but he's gutsed it out well today for us.
"We knew when we drew that wide that we'd probably have to go back. Brendan (Hawtin), the assistant trainer, said that's where he'd be and that's where he was. The build up at the top of the straight, he's come into and he's hung tough the last 200 (metres)."
Winning Jockey: Luke Currie
"I watched the last race and that's how the last winner one. It looks to be fairly even at the moment. From that draw and coming back in trip, it was always going to be a backmarker and I rode him that way.
"Gave him a chance to finish off. Had the favourite (Chief Altony) in front of him and in an awkward spot so I thought we'd take our chance and get going. We knew he'd be tough and fit and he was strong through the line.
Favourite in an awkward spot: "I had him in my sights and I was able to get the momentum on him. He had to be pretty sharp to get out from where he was and come over the top of me, and he nearly did, but I suppose that's the timing whether you press the button and then you walk a little bit late but it's nice to ride a winner for Nat and Trent.
"Trent tells me that I never give him a rap when I ride a winner for him. He's been a mate of mine for a long time."
