Winning in the Williams colours: "Unbelievable thrill. (These colours) have been through a lot of Group 1's and a lot of Melbourne Cups so winning in these colours means a lot. It's great to get the opportunity and make the most of it today."

On the horse: "It looked like he missed it a little bit last time and got a bit far out of his ground but he ran through the line well. He jumped really well today and was able to travel nicely. When the gap came midway down the straight he was too strong."
