Relishing the wet conditions and a track favouring on-pace runners, No Effort has landed another impressive victory, this time at Caulfield.

Just as she did at Sandown on June 12, No Effort led throughout to take out the Neds Same Race Multi Handicap (2000m) on Saturday.

The track may not have been as heavy as when No Effort held on to win over 1800m at Sandown, but Saturday's Caulfield win over the extra ground was more impressive.

Under the guidance of Lachie King, No Effort ($7) recorded a three-length win from Pancho ($12) with the $3.80 favourite Fifth Position a further 1-¾ lengths off in third place.

Trainer Gavin Bedggood said Saturday's victory was more impressive than her victory at Sandown.

"Full credit to my staff at home, my work rider, Daniel Schmitt, everyone involved in the horse," Bedggood said.

"Daniel galloped her on Tuesday morning and he got off her and said 'that's the best she's worked all prep, keep her breathing and she'll win again on Saturday'.

"Readying to get on the float today I didn't think there was much improvement.

"I thought that she was probably as light as she wants to be. We might back off her for a little bit now and see where she takes us.

"She didn't get 'touched' until she was four-years-old and to get that amount of prize money, and she's a 'nothing' bred horse, it's a great result."

No Effort banked $74,250 on Saturday to take her prize money to just shy of $560,000.

King replaced the injured Carlene Hefel who had a fall at Edenhope the day after No Effort and stablemate Sir Kalahad provided her and Bedggood a double.

He said No Effort was possibly the easiest horse that King has ridden, saying she is push button.

"A beautiful horse, I'd love to own her," King said.
