R1 Tasmanian Equine Veterinary Services Pace, 1609m

LIKELY LEADER: Tommy Hillfigure will be looking to hold Longfellow early.

The first of the night is a 3YO and above for non-winners where the Rohan Hillier-trained TOMMY HILLFIGURE (1) looks to get every chance to notch his first win. He draws the pole over the short trip. LONGFELLOW (3) resumes and did run some handy races as a 2YO so is a huge watch and the market will be a better guide. HUGHIE PLAYBOY (9) was spotted hitting the line when resuming from a long way back so with that run under his belt can figure. NINEFORTWENTYTHREE (8) has been disappointing to date but does get a good draw so has his chance to improve. INDIANNA SANZ (7) her best form would see her nearly winning this but will have to overcome the wide draw over the sprint trip, so a place looks best along with MY ULTIMATE BEAUTY (5).

LIKELY LEADER: Helikaon will be looking to hold them out.

Here we have the 55-59 rated performers, and it looks a great clash on paper. HELIKAON (1) was a dominant winner last time when leading throughout and gets the perfect draw to repeat the dose. This is stronger but he will be in front of his rivals which will take him a long way to winning. MONTANA STORM (12) is an impressive type who was beaten but far from disgraced last time. He will need to be good from his back row draw, but he can overcome that. JACK JAMES (6) rattled home for an impressive win last time but from his wide draw a place looks best and that also goes for SOMETHING BETTOR (7) who is shooting for a winning hat-trick but will find it tough in this line up. GUIDO DA SIENA (3) was driven conservatively last time when he could've gotten into the race earlier which would have seen him go close to winning. If he runs up to that effort, he can place at odds along with EMJAYS BLACK CHIP (8), TURQUOISE STRIDE (10) and LOYOLA TRIOS (13) who all need to be included by the exotic players.

R3 Nutrien Sprintlane Pace, 2090m

LIKELY LEADER: Tricky speed map but look for Forgot the Wallet to push forward along with Ifitstobeitsuptome and Emrites from out wider but I'm sure Camellia Stride will be looking to kick up.

This is for the 3YO's with a rating of 40-55. STEPPING STONES (9) nothing went right last time when getting crossed early so from her trailing draw she can push forward and if getting outside the speed will be hard to beat. FORGOT THE WALLET (4) was good when resuming, running home in a slick last half so with that run under her belt is sure to be a major player. EMRITES (7) has been good in all local runs but must overcome the wide draw. IFITSTOBEITSUPTOME (6) was backed into short odds last time which was surprising and had every chance, so a placing looks best in this line up as it does for the likes of CAMELLIA STRIDE (1), FURY DAN (8) and WRITTEN IN SILK (10) who all need to be included by the exotic players.

LIKELY LEADER: Gordievsky Leis will be looking to get down to the pegs first.

The fourth race of the night is for the concession drivers. ENDEAVOUR STRIDE (11) got the job done for us last week at huge odds and this looks no harder so as long as he settles early he will take plenty of holding out. SPORTS CANDY (9) has been racing in good heart and is sure to make her presence felt as she should have clear running throughout, not boxed away on the pegs like last week. COOLHAND EASTON (8) continues to race well and will only need the gaps to open at the right time to be in the finish. NORTHVIEW DAVE (4) gets the front row draw which will allow him to push forward and be on the speed throughout so has to be included along with the likes of GORDIEVSKY LEIS (3), GIPSY TREASURE (5) and BLACK ASSASSIN (10).

LIKELY LEADER: Rocknroll Turbo will be looking to bully his way to the lead.

This is the fast class race of the night a stand start discretionary where the back marker THE SHALLOWS (15) will be looking to make it a winning hat-trick. He looks well placed from the 20m mark and will make that up quickly but still must navigate his way around a capacity field. BE MAJOR THREAT (13) is a model of consistency and is well up to winning this with a touch of lucky early. ROCKNROLL TURBO (3) is bursting to get back into the winners list but keeps finding one better. He will get his chance if pinging on top. SEA DOUBLE UGRANT (2) looks well placed off the front line and will put himself close to the speed and despite being first-up has to be considered. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT (14) is struggling to recapture his best form but can run a place at odds so is a must for the exotic players along with REIGN OF PAIN (6), GOTTA GOOD REASON (8), EARL JUJON (9) and KARDESLER (10).

LIKELY LEADER: Murry will be pushing forward with Iden Forest looking to bully his way across to the pegs.

Here we have a 60-74 rated affair where the in-form MONTANA LAD (10) can continue his winning ways. He got out to a very good price last week where he had lengths on his rivals and that looks like the case again. AHA REACTION (11) and SOMEDAN (12) come out of same race and did make up some late ground so if there are dangers, they look the most likely. ONE OFF (2) has been a little unlucky in easier races so can look to change that with a good front row draw tonight. IDEN FOREST (6) will take up his usual role and look to work up on the speed and if getting there easily is a must for the exotic players along with MURRY (3), TARLETON RILEY (4), LOCKAWAY KACIE (7) and HEZ THE ONE (8).

LIKELY LEADER: Major Davvin will be looking to hold Just for Dave and Debt Till We Part.

This is a 45 or better stand start affair which sees a capacity field. MAJOR DAVVIN (1) continues to race well from tricky draws so if he can ping on top early, he will give his rivals plenty to chase. JUST FOR DAVE (3) is worth another chance just driven too confident last time. He is better with a sit and if getting that here and saved for the last crack at them will get very close. PERFECT MACH (15) is an old evergreen who is lining up for start 245 and finds his easiest assignment for a while but will have to overcome the 30m back mark. ONEOFTHELADS (11) got the perfect cart into the race when proving too strong last week so if getting a similar run into the race here will make his presence felt. DEBT TILL WE PART (5), KUZMA (10), HEZA RUMMAGE (12) and SOMEHOWSOMEWAY (14) can spice up the exotics at odds so have to be put in.

LIKELY LEADER: Nobeer Nomore will be looking to hold Boulder City and Major Seascape early.

This is the last leg of the quadrella being for the 30-49 rated performers. NOBEER NOMORE (2) was a brilliant winner leading throughout in good fashion rating good time and to say trainer Wayne Rainbrid was over the moon was an understatement. Look for similar tactics to be adopted, pinging on top and running along at even sectionals. MAJOR SEASCAPE (7) is shooting for a winning hat-trick but must overcome a tricky draw so tactics early will be interesting but more than likely will push forward. APHRODISIAC (4) creates a bit of interest coming across from Victoria with fair form from a good draw so watch the betting. BOULDER CITY (5) had no luck last time so can run an improved race drawing to settle closer so include along with the likes of KEEP PLAYING (8) and MY ULTIMATE ROMEO (10). SPORTS ILLUSTRATOR (1) is on debut for the astute Heath Woods stable but won't find this easy so a placing looks best.

LIKELY LEADER: Abs Boy will be looking to get across Guys Bettor Bet but Good Feelings is the query from out wide.

This is for the 50-54 rated pacers over the sprint trip. HEZ RAZOR SHARP (12) will find this easier but will need to get on to the three-wide train as that will give him every chance to run down his rivals. ABS BOY (2) looks well placed here especially if can get across the pole marker early. STAVROS THE TERROR (11) had every chance at his first local outing when leading so will find this tougher from the second line. GUYS BETTOR BET (1) is the one that will get every chance especially if handing up early as he will finish hard up the pegs. LIFES A JUNGLE (8) and MY CELEBRITY (10) are both capable of figuring with the right trips into the race so are a must for the exotic players with GOOD FEELINGS (6) who can throw a spanner in the works, able to run the gate when asked.

LIKELY LEADER: Vivid Stride will be looking to kick with Mykindoffeeling pushing forward.

The last of the night is for the 30-55 rated performers and looks a tough race to assess. NAVUA PIXIE (2) was good last time in tougher company but did have the perfect trip so dropping back to this grade and from the good draw looks hard to beat. KISSING GAME (5) is getting close to a win and will get her chance so has to be included as does COVEFFE HUSTLER (10) who will appreciate being the one that will have the last crack. VIVID STRIDE (1) gets every chance to improve from the pole but was beaten a long way at its first local run. If the money comes it shows the stable is confident of an improved effort. MYKINDOFFEELING (4) can also improve getting the draw to push forward and find the pegs has a chance at odds. MACHAVELLI (8), ISLAND ROCKNROLL (9) and MACH CHARM (11) all have some hope if the breaks come their way in running.
