Race 1 - 12:50PM JEFF PERRY MEMORIAL MAIDEN HANDICAP (1420 METRES)

Surely this is the day for 2. Capital Venture. He is a 15 start maiden but is one of those horses that shouldn't be. He has placed in seven of those runs including two this preparation. Last start he ran second to Hammoon Jig. Out to 1400m, fourth up and back onto a dry track.

Dangers: Have got a query over the depth of the race 6. Chile Chile comes out of at Narromine last start but this isn't a deep race either. 7. Electric Feel has put together two encouraging runs back-to-back now.

How to play it: Capital Venture WIN ($4.40 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: EVENS

Race 2 - 1:30PM NORMAN VOLK MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE (1120 METRES)

Suspect 7. Vivenzo has a lot more talent than we've seen on the track. Has been transferred to Rod Northam after starting hard in the market in his two starts. Trucked to the line at Scone ins a recent trial. Monitor betting first up.

Dangers: 5. Our Little Louie is the obvious threat. Has been knocking on the door all preparation and deserves to be favourite. Just can't justify the early odds on quote given the queries around other runners including 13. Little Red Power.

How to play it: Vivenzo WIN ($5 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: ODDS

Race 3 - 2:10PM JOHN MCKINNON MEMORIAL CUP SPRINT PRELUDE (1120 METRES)

5. Classy Rebel is likely to race on the firmest surface he has been on in a while so that's the little query in terms of holding his form, but that's all the speedy seven-year-old needs to do to make it four wins from his past five starts. He is airborne.

Dangers: 1. Dubai Tycoon jumps 6kg and comes back in trip after running so well at Muswellbrook first up. Backs up quickly, so he has obviously done well since then, and draws to get his chance to run down the favourite.

How to play it: Classy Rebel WIN ($1.75 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: ODDS

Race 4 - 2:50PM JOCKEY CELEBRATION DAY BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1120 METRES)

13. Foxstorm is a lightly-raced four-year-old back for his second preparation. Showed glimpses of ability in his five runs but was particularly taken by the way he trialled at Scone recently, cruising to an effortless heat win. Looks to have returned better again.

Dangers: 9. Miss Kojiki has gone on with it since running so well behind Marboosha and The Bopper at her first two starts but her first up run this time back suggested another win isn't too far away, particularly in this company. The barrier is the worry.

How to play it: Foxstorm WIN ($3.80 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: ODDS

Race 5 - 3:30PM TONY WALL MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1620 METRES)

Forgive 5. Ollivander last start at Cowra on a heavy track where he was slow to recover and he brings a strong form into this. The six-year-old will stride forward again here and getting back onto a firmer surface looks to suit. Has never raced better.

Dangers: 1. Silverdeel is charging through the grades this preparation and won a Class 1 by 6.4L last start at Narromine. That was on a heavy track but her form on top of the ground is still solid enough to still like her chances in this.

How to play it: Ollivander WIN ($5.50 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: ODDS

Race 6 - 4:05PM REEVE WHEELER MEMORIAL CLASS 2 HANDICAP (1420 METRES)

3. Nowyunomi fits in well here. He won well at Dubbo three back before holding his own at Randwick in Highway company behind subsequent Forbes Cup winner From The Bush. He ran eighth at Scone last start but was only beaten two lengths.

Dangers: 1. Jervis is a four-year-old marching through the grades and he is well placed by Garry Lunn again here. Scored a dogged win at Narromine last start having put the writing on the wall at Dubbo first up.

How to play it: Nowyunomi WIN ($2.70 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: ODDS

Race 7 - 4:40PM JOHN NESTOR MEMORIAL DUBBO CUP PRELUDE (1420 METRES)

9. Heza Gentleman hasn't finished outside of the top four at his last five starts and comes off a city placing at Randwick behind Matowatakpe where he led the field up and gave check turning for home. This is more suitable.

Dangers: 1. Eiger is the class runner and gets in just 1kg above the minimum after the claim. Didn't have any excuses last start but this is much easier. 7. Wishfilly could be the improver back onto a firmer track.

How to play it: Heza Gentleman WIN ($3.50 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: ODDS
